Fastest show and new record
This time the normal 4 shows were all held in one single day! The Danish/Swedish Farmdog group answered to the calling, and mastered to have the largest number of dogs in one breed represented.
We had 2 new puppies in puppy class, which was so refreshing, it has been a while, since we had puppies at the shows, and these 2 were both shown by their junior handlers - good job!.
Gathered was a total of 12 dogs, which is 1/4 of the entire currently registered US population, 11 of those showed, one visited for the day.
The dogs showing were: Annika, Bailey, Flora, Hannah, Maddy, Kemosabe, Kikka, Lexie, Skoen, Solo and Vago. Thank you to Bruce for showing Kikka for me, you did a fine job! And thank you to everybody who showed and showed up, we (as usual) had an unforgettable weekend of fun with great friends and wonderful Farmdogs.

A proud junior handler and her puppy, after a good job!

Time for other "stuff"
Due to the 4 shows in one day, it was difficult to make time, to do much other, than show dogs.
However, this group come to socialize, play and have fun, and that we are champs at doing.
Again we had a delicious oriental chicken salad "with avec", amongst others, left-overs from Carol's wonderful lasagna from the evening before. Thanks Mel for once again catering to us all, and thanks Carol for home made lasagna Friday, and the to die for bar-b-qued lamb roast, corn on the cob and salad.
A gourmet weekend for sure, you spoil us rotten!
The purple velvet throne was brought by Brita, and we managed to get more new dogs onto the throne, posing for pictures. Some day, perhaps we will have them all.
Our young handlers showed their puppies in Junior Handler class, and we did enjoy the one tent, which wouldn't pack back into it's sack...3 men and a woman, could not make it happen, but the manual fixed the issue, once back in WY!
Again our males were under torture due to female in heat, but they sure do manage well anyway.

The table in the Farmdog camp
We're getting really good at this "all day buffet-thing"...everything but the kitchen zink!

The optimal "finale".
Completing all 4 shows Saturday, left Sunday open for the fun stuff in life.
I find this part important to include, it was part of the weekend, and has a lot to do with, why we get together. Not just to show our dogs (seems to have become the least important anymore), but to share great doggy-time!
A smaller group of us, went to the dog beach in San Fransisco. The weather was gorgeous, and the beach was incredibly exciting. Balls, sticks and other dogs to chase in and out of the water, lots of room to run, run and run, and sand to dig, dig and dig in.
After a couple of hours, a set of what seemed to be hundreds of stairs, going up, up and up.
Good exercise for both dogs and humans, and a wonderful end to a wonderful weekend. The girls and boys sure had a very quiet day the next day, recovering from all the action. Thanks for sharing this Father's day with us, in such great setting!

Show?...what show? Where? Who?
Guess since this page is titled "something show", that we should justify that with proof, that we actually DO show. So here it is.
