CJ and Puppies week 6 (for 7 week pictures scroll to bottom)
,
6 weeks old, and Mom is a play mate
|
This week the puppies have changed so much.
They seem to have longer legs, and they are much more adventuresome.
Their world has expanded, so now they have much more room to roam, including access to the kitchen. They are eating 100% on their own now, CJ had enough of feeding them, and is now occupied playing with them, and showing who is "top dog". She is bringing them up!
Ashley is sleeping on the floor with the puppies in the series of pictures below. That is one brave girl, because nothing is "safe" from a 6 week old puppy...they go for hair, nose, toes etc.
We hear the pups have been spoiled with ground cooked turkey...uh-oh, yummy!!!
Please do not inquire about this litter, they already have homes waiting for them.
We thank you for your understanding.

7 weeks old, and my visit
,
7 weeks old, ready for it all
|
This weekend when CJ's puppies turned 7 weeks of age, I went up to visit them, and to help find out which of the puppies fit each of the waiting homes best.
The 3 puppies are so well socialized and adjusted, and very, very equal!!!
CJ is now partly playing the Mother role, having some serious up-bringing issues at times, and at the same time, she is being the play mate, who wants to control the games.
The puppies were so much fun to watch play inside and out, and anytime they had been sleeping and woke up and had visitors, they came RUNNING to greet. They are very focused on human company, and love to be in hands, be held, cuddled and padded.
They came along on the drive to the airport to pick me up, and to bring me back, so they have also tried to drive by car now!
Here is a bunch of the pictures I took. Now it has been decided that Ali is going to MD, Nell will be the first Farmdog in MN, and Daisy is going to be Little Denmark's Birgitte The Conqueror, AKA Emma's "little Sis" in MA.
Kennel Little Denmark wishes the excited families congratulations on your new family members, and thank you for your patience and understanding of having to wait to know, which one fits best where.
We look forward to following our "grandpups" prosper and grow!
Also a BIG thank you to CJ's family for having me, it was a great time!!!
